How often should we change our air filter?

Air filters are an integral part of a well-functioning air conditioning unit.  Regular changing of the air filter ensures that an adequate supply of air is going through the air conditioning unit, which is required for proper cooling.

The air filter should be changed at least every 4 months, depending on air conditioning usage.  Residents are responsible for changing their air filters, except in those homes occupied by TCU students. Before purchasing a new air filter, check the size of the current air filter.
