How Weimer Properties got started

Mark and I met at TCU, during our freshman year.  At the end of Mark’s freshman year, he decided that he wanted buy a house, as an investment, to live off-campus.  By June, Mark had found, purchased, and moved into his new home on Frazier Avenue.  Several months later, Mark purchased another house on the same street.  Over Christmas break, we cleaned and painted the house, before tenants moved in.

When we finished our degrees at TCU, we got married, sold the 2 houses on Frazier, and moved to Kansas City.  After less than a year, we moved back to Fort Worth and purchased a house in the TCU area.  While working full-time, we continued to buy rentals, specifically in the TCU area.

In 2003, we began redeveloping some of our TCU-area properties.  Since Mark is a builder, we were able to design and construct our own properties, to our building standards.

Over time, we have developed a reputation for high-quality rentals, with recommendations coming from tenants and parents.  Because we only manage properties that we own, we place extra emphasis on taking care of our properties.  Living in the Fort Worth area allows us to do that!
