Why are the clothes/towels/jeans in the dryer not drying completely?
The dryer requires a free flow of air and the appropriate drying cycle to dry effectively.
- Check the lint filter. The lint filter, which accumulates small pieces of fabric or threads, can be found near the dryer door or on top of the dryer. To ensure a free flow of air, the lint filter should be cleaned after each drying cycle or before each drying cycle.
- Check the drying cycle for your clothing. Generally, heavier weight items, like towels, should be dried on the hottest cycle, cotton/normal.
If the lint filter is clean and the appropriate drying cycle was chosen, please submit a Request through the Resident Center.
