How do we use Docusign?

Docusign provides a legal way to electronically sign legal documents.  While we prefer to sign our Leases in person, we generally sign our Lease Amendments and Lease Renewals via Docusign.

Once we create a document within Docusign, each resident will receive a separate email from Docusign to provide their electronic signature.  A Docusign account is not necessary to provide your electronic signature. Docusign will provide prompts to create an electronic signature (for first time users) and to sign in the appropriate areas.

Each resident should use the email sent directly to their email address to provide their electronic signature. The email will be sent to the email on file with the Resident Center. The signature can be provided using a computer, tablet, or mobile device. If you cannot find the email from Docusign in your inbox, check your spam, other, or clutter folder.

Each Docusign document has an expiration date. Please sign within the appropriate timeframe. Once the Docusign document has been fully signed, Docusign will send a confirmation email to all parties.
