When will I receive my Security Deposit Refund?
Per your Lease, you will receive your refund or an account of your Security Deposit within 30 days once the following items have been completed:
- Vacate the home
- Return all keys and other access devices
- Provide the Security Deposit Refund Form
How do I complete the Security Deposit Refund Form?
The Form is available in the Documents section of Resident Center. All residents on the Lease are required to sign the form. Unless you use a signature software, like Docusign, please ensure that we receive actual signatures on the form. Once you complete the form, you can send it in through a Request through the Resident Center.
How will I know how much of the Security Deposit is mine? Will you send me my portion of the Security Deposit separately from the entire house?
When we send your refund or an account of your Security Deposit, we will itemize all deductions and which room those deductions correspond to. We will send the Security Deposit as one sum. You may then split the refund appropriately among your roommates, if necessary.
Did I send in my Security Deposit Refund Form? Can I see the cost breakdown? Can you provide documentation of the condition of our house at move-out?
Outgoing residents have access to their Resident Center for 30 days after their Termination Date. If you have any questions, please log in before the 30 days. You will find:
- An upload of the completed Security Deposit Refund Form, once we have received it.
- Account statement, with deductions
- Photos of property at moveout
